Attribution Expert, Hamburg, Germany

As an Attribution specialist in the Audience Sales team, you will be working with our most advanced display customers to allow them to accurately assign value, alter bids and allocate budgets to each of their acquisition channels.

You will work directly with a portfolio of large advertisers, and will pitch, test and implement attribution to these customers - with a particular focus on non-search activity. Your role is to make sure that clients fairly value their display investment, and to help them act upon their understanding.
This role is a unique opportunity to be a key, high-visibility player in an entrepreneurial and strategic environment within Google. We are looking for highly analytical minds that can solve complex problems, as well developing relationships with key stakeholders in and outside of Google.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse advertiser campaigns to identify attribution opportunities for existing campaigns and pitch new display campaigns.
  • Manage the testing of new attribution models through the use of emerging internal tools.
  • Influence account budget and bid changes through application of improved attribution models.
Minimum qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience consulting with large advertisers to influence strategic changes in their resource and budget allocations.
Preferred qualifications
  • Ability to analyse complex advertiser performance data through tools such as Google Analytics, AdWords, the Doubleclick suite, Omniture or similar applications.
  • Ability to manage multi-step, multi-quarter attribution projects, building relationships with customers who are new to the attribution concept.
  • Familiarity with testing approaches and evaluation (geo/cookie etc).
  • Detail oriented, ability to quickly complete a large volume of high-quality work and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders internally.
  • Fluent in English and German.
